Gouldsboro has received a $55,500 Maine Coastal Program Grant to conduct resource and hydrologic studies along Corea Road at Sand Cove and at the southern edge of Grand Marsh Bay. The project will provide data the Town will use in working with State agencies, local land trusts, and private landowners in planning and design work.
Harbor Resilience: Building on Stakeholder Ideas
On Saturday, Nov. 15, harbor stakeholders will again meet at Peninsula School to plan for investments in three of the town's harbors.This meeting builds on last spring's meeting and will shape harbor design work in 2026.

Gouldsboro's Coastal Resilience Committee met on January 8 to work on requests for funds to reduce sea-level rise and storm surge vulnerabilities in the village of Corea and along Rt. 195 (Corea Road) at Sand Cove.
