Do you have a favorite clam recipe that you would be proud to share with others in town? Maybe a chowder recipe? A clam and sausage stew? Clam risotto or a dynamite clam spaghetti recipe? A luscious baked clams recipe?
The Gouldsboro Shore project is putting together a cookbook of clam recipes to show off the skills and imagination of Gouldsboro’s cooks (Winter Harbor’s cooks are welcome too!) and to get folks thinking about all the yummy ways to prepare and eat clams. Our plan is to publish the recipes here on the Gouldsboro Shore website and also to make them available on paper. We also hope to use some of the recipes in our Meet Your Local Clams workshop during the 2022 Schoodic Arts for All Summer Festival.
If you have a recipe (or two!) to share, please send it with your name to info@gouldsboroshore.me or drop off a written/printed version at the GouldsboroTown Office by June 30, 2022. If there is a family history to the recipe, please share it! And if you have a photo of the finished product, we would love to be able to use it.
If you have any questions about how to send recipes or anything else about the Clam Cookbook, just send us an email at info@gouldsboroshore.me.
